Autographics was foundered by Robin Gordon who has a long and diverse history in graphic design. He started his career 27 years in vehicle graphics by buying a franchise Auto Trim Designs. This evolved into his own business in Johannesburg called Autographics which imported vinyls from the USA and which he turned into creative designs on 4x4's, trucks, custom bakkie designs, racing cars, and built a good reputation of service excellence. With the advent of computers in the graphic industry, he then purchased CAD design computer equipment and proceed to do designs in-house. He found that more and more he was doing company corporate vehicle signage.

He created in partnership, a new company called Sign 4 U for about one year. This partnership did not work out and he then left and went out on his own again as Autographs Signs. The vehicle graphic industry had progressed and evolved, due to popular demand, into fleet signage which dominated and thus the nature of his business evolved into a signage base. He used his prior graphic experience to design logos and company corporate's and was able help large companies change their corporate image. He found his business was growing ad he now was doing work for all the trucking companies like Volvo and Scania and completing contracts on trucks by the hundreds. For years he did business with the Automobile Association on all their vehicle countrywide till he sold sold Autographic Signs in 1999.

The name Autographics is a part of him.

Robins first love is graphic design and web development was a natural transition for him in graphics. He went and studied and completed various courses in computer programming with Netscope and Hazelden Designs. He believes by nature in doing things right the first time. He has a hands on approach with all his clients and his service excellence is clear for all to see.
